The sculpture was renovated and its discovery contributed to the rehabilitation of Ja\u015bkowy Zak\u0105tek and the creation of a recreational garden by the pond, which referred to the old function of this place \u2013 before the war, there used to be an orchard here that belonged to a patrician manor. The sculpture of Fortune was returned to its original location, on a stone wall by the water. The statue depicts a woman in a long draped robe, standing with her head bent forward, holding a cornucopia in her left hand \u2013 the attribute of Fortune, the Roman goddess guiding human destiny.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Place:<\/strong> Ja\u015bkowy Zak\u0105tek (at the intersection of Ja\u015bkowa Dolina and Eugeniusza Romera streets in Wrzeszcz) was created on the initiative of local residents and financed out of the Citizens Budget. This is a park and garden area near 67 Ja\u015bkowa Dolina Street, on the Ja\u015bkowy stream, referring to the former gardens that used to be located there. The total surface area of the plot is 1,800 sq m.
