The illustrations were designed on the basis of watchwords identified by the community, and developed together with them. The mural, which is composed of two parts painted on two opposite walls, features motifs of birth, creativity, garden \u2013 an oasis of peace, community and the Gda\u0144sk coat of arms. Members of the cooperative wanted to showcase values such as multigenerationality, continuity, working together, apartments being passed from grandparents to grandchildren and housing built by people for themselves (not by the state or another institution). In the work, the artist employed her typical, synthetic style, at times verging on abstraction. The forms are simple, somewhat geometricized, the colours subdued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Place: <\/strong>the mural is located on two opposite walls of a glazed entrance to a residential house on Dmowskiego Street connecting Grunwaldzka Street, Tri-City\u2019s main communication artery, with the Wrzeszcz railway station<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information about the author:<\/strong> Vera King is a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gda\u0144sk, where she also completed BA studies in visual arts education. A graphic designer and illustrator, she also works creatively with children and students. King teaches Graphic Design at the Polish-Japanese School of Information Technology.
